In August, we continued to see a lot of inventory available for buyers and longer days on market for sellers. September until mid-November is often a strong market in Sonoma County. With possible rate cuts soon and busy open houses, we look forward to seeing how it unfolds.
Spring came early this year with a tremendous amount of inventory hitting the market in April and continuing through the summer.
Listing accepting offers has been steady. Just over 400 homes across all price points are accepting offers each month. It has not increased with the amount of available inventory, but it is holding steady.
The number of price reductions came down slightly in August, but it is still high - reflecting the competition that sellers have with other opportunities for buyers.
