Sonoma County was made for outdoor celebrations (as long as the Zyrtec is on-hand). There are so many options, but here are a few local ways we love to celebrate.
Iron Horse Vineyards, Sebastopol
For a celebration with a view, Iron Horse is hard to beat. Think rustic, original Sonoma County (50 years old!) Their outdoor picnic area offers tables overlooking the estate vineyards, with outside food permitted and bottles available for purchase. They also offer outdoor wine tasting with a view for a more traditional tasting experience.
Sonoma Botanical Garden, Glen Ellen
For a lovely, quiet celebration, or picnic outing, the gorgeous garden offers self-guided walks, valley views, and picnic spots. Perfect when you want the day to feel special, but not overly scheduled.
River Electric, Guerneville
A new entrant to the scene, this 12-acre camp resort and swim club is a short walk from downtown Guerneville. The property features 40 furnished canvas tents, two swimming pools, a full-service restaurant, and a cocktail bar. Tuesday is discounted locals day! This is a great way to vibe in west county.
